I work in NHS psychiatry recruitment — on the side of the desk most doctors never see.

For years I watched brilliant internationally trained doctors get rejected from NHS jobs. Burying their qualification. Opening with “I am passionate and dedicated.” Sending the same CV to fifty trusts and hearing nothing.

Not because they weren’t good enough.

Because nobody ever told them how NHS applications are actually scored.
