REFUND POLICY

1. Overview

This Returns & Refund Policy explains your cancellation and refund rights when you buy from Clinician Abroad (“we”, “us”, “our”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Because we sell digital products and personalised services rather than physical goods, different rules apply to each, and they are set out clearly below. Nothing in this policy removes or reduces your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

2. Digital guides and downloads

Our digital guides (for example, the NHS Application Fix Pack, Interview Masterclass, Sponsorship & Visa

Guide, and Psychiatry Career Guide) are delivered electronically, normally immediately after purchase.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you would normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, however, this right is lost once you begin downloading or accessing the content, provided you have acknowledged this at checkout. By purchasing a digital guide and then downloading or accessing it, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel and obtain a refund.

For this reason, digital guides are non-refundable once they have been downloaded or accessed.

The exception: if you experience a genuine technical problem that prevents you from accessing or downloading your guide, contact us at info@clinicianabroad.com and we will put it right — by re-sending the file or, where we are unable to deliver it to you, issuing a full refund.

3. CV Rewrite and application review services

These are personalised services that require us to begin work specifically on your documents. The following applies:

  • Before we begin work: you may cancel and receive a full refund at any time before we have started working on your documents.
  • Once we begin work: by submitting your documents to us, you expressly request that we begin the service immediately and acknowledge that you waive your right to cancel for a refund once work has started. These services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Revisions instead of refunds: to keep things fair, the CV Rewrite service includes one round of reasonable revisions if you feel the delivered work does not match what was described on the product page. This is offered in place of a cash refund.
  • Turnaround: we aim to deliver within the timeframe stated on the product page (for example, 48 hours) from the point we receive your complete documents. Delays caused by late or incomplete submission of your materials do not entitle you to a refund.

4. Consultations and coaching calls

  • You may reschedule or cancel a consultation for a full refund with at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled time.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, and non-attendance (‘no-shows’), are non-refundable, as the time has been reserved for you.
  • If we need to reschedule for any reason on our side, you will be offered a new time or a full refund, at your choice.

5. Bundles

Where you purchase a bundle (for example, the Complete NHS Job Pack), the digital-guide terms in section 2 apply to the guides within it. Once any guide in a bundle has been downloaded or accessed, the bundle is treated as accessed and is non-refundable, for the reasons set out in section 2.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund where you are eligible under this policy, email us at info@clinicianabroad.com with your order number and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 3-5 working days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 working days depending on your payment provider.

7. Faulty or misdescribed products

If a product or service is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This may include a repeat performance of the service or a refund. Please contact us and we will resolve the matter fairly and in line with the law. This statutory right is not affected by anything else in this policy.

8. Chargebacks

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly — this is almost always faster than a chargeback. Raising a chargeback for a digital product you have already downloaded, or a service we have already performed, where no refund is due under this policy, may be disputed with evidence of delivery and of your acceptance of these terms at purchase.

10. FINAL SALE CONDITIONS

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind

  • Failure to use the product

  • Misunderstanding of product scope

  • Delays caused by the customer

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your statutory rights under applicable law.
